Smoked chicken halves used the killer hogs brisket rub and hot bbq rub. Used kingsford charcoal and some hickory wood chunks. smoked at 300 Fahrenheit for about an hour and a half came out so good and juicy.

    90 min at 300? What IT did you pull it at? Never had to use a knife on smoked chicken, it should just pull right apart. It will still taste good, but consider going longer. I go to 175, going slow.
